SHIPPING
Orders are usually shipped via USPS First Class Mail, USPS Priority Mail, or USPS Express Mail. Shipping charges are based upon the weight of your order and your location and include shipping, handling, insurance, and delivery confirmation fees. The estimates quoted on our site apply only to orders shipped within the United States. We will notify you of any backordered items and any other changes to your invoice. If you have special shipping requests, please include them in the comments section of your order. UPS and FedEx shipping services are available upon request.
Most orders are shipped within 24-48 hours Monday-Friday except holidays.
International shipping rates vary by country and will be handled on an individual basis. We will email your total including shipping on all international orders. All customs duties and international taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser. Special note to our international customers: Please do not ask us to violate US federal law. We cannot undervalue your purchases or label them as gifts or sample merchandise.
PAYMENTS
Orders may be placed online, by phone, by fax, or by email. We accept credit cards--Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover--, PayPal, checks, and money orders. All payments must be made in US funds, and we cannot accept checks drawn on non-US banks (including Canadian Banks). Your credit card information is processed through a secure server which encrypts the information for your protection. If you are uncomfortable sending your credit card information via the internet, you may call or fax it to us at 252-355-3602. Your credit card will not be charged until we have filled your order and are ready to ship.
If you wish to pay by check or money order, please wait for your total before sending your check. Totals and order confirmations will be emailed as soon as we receive a copy of you order from our website. Orders paid by check will not be processed until the check clears (7-14 days).

RETURNS
Cut yardage--fabric, lace, piping, trims, and any other merchandise cut and sold by the yard--cannot be returned except in the case of defective merchandise or items shipped in error. Books, patterns, and smocking plates cannot be returned. Should you receive defective merchandise or items in error, please contact us within 14 days of your shipping date for return authorization. No returns are accepted without prior authorization, or after 14 days, for any reason. Returns or exchanges must be sent in the original condition. Items accepted for return will be replaced with store credit only. Customer is responsible for return shipping cost. Shipping and handling charges cannot be credited. In no case will cash refunds be given.
