Spechler-Vogel's Swiss pima "petticoat quality batiste" is neither as sheer nor as expensive as their Nelona. However, it has a wonderful soft hand, drapes beautifully, and smocks and sews like a dream. The fabric is ideal for nightgowns, camisoles, infant clothing such as daygowns and diaper sets, and slips.
