Tissue Silk Shantung - Pink Lady

Tissue silk shantung is quite similar to other shantungs except that it is lighter in weight. It has a slightly rough, irregular surface characterized by the same horizontal slubs as dupioni. The semi-crisp fabric is lustrous with a subtle sheen. It drapes well and holds gathers and pleats beautifully. This elegant fabric is a wonderful choice for christening gowns, special occasion dresses, smocking, general sewing, doll clothes. Fabric is washable. Handwash prior to garment construction to preshrink.

Pink Lady is a soft, light pink.
