Silk dupioni is an elegant fabric woven with slubbed yarns producing prominent, irregular, horizontal ribs. It is light to medium in weight, with a crisp, scrunchy hand, and has a dull/low luster. This beautiful quality silk dupioni woven gingham has few slubs and is perfect for smocking, dolls, general sewing, even home dec. The checks measure just under 1/2". Dry clean only.
