Silk dupioni is an elegant fabric woven with slubbed yarns producing prominent, irregular, horizontal ribs. It is light to medium in weight, with a crisp, scrunchy hand, and has a dull/low luster. This beautiful quality silk dupioni woven gingham has few slubs and is perfect for smocking, dolls, general sewing, even home dec. The petal pink (a soft, muted pink) and antique white checks measure approximately 1/8". Fabric is 43"/44" wide and can be hand washed. It retails for $25.00/yd.
