Silk dupioni is an elegant fabric woven with slubbed yarns producing prominent, irregular, horizontal ribs. It is light to medium in weight, with a crisp, scrunchy hand, and has a dull/low luster. This deep claret dupioni would be perfect for formal or holiday garments--even doll clothes, but could also be used for home dec. Dry clean only.
