Made from long-staple, 100% Egyptian Giza cotton, Anchor embroidery floss is a 6-strand divisible floss suitable for smocking, cross-stitch, hardanger, needlepoint, embroidery, and other forms of needlework. This ultra-smooth fiber is available in a palette of 460 colors, 444 solids and 16 variegated shades. Each skein is 8 m/8.8 yds.
We prefer Anchor floss, as it holds up much better without fraying, "spinning out", or clumps, especially in the darker colors. We stock all solid colors and can special order the variegated ones.
